These magnetic targets can be placed on the object itself or in the area to be scanned in order to prepare it for 3D scanning. Our targets are the secret to the mobility and dynamic referencing of 3D scanners since they are perfect for setting a reference point.

With the use of these markers, users can properly align the scan’s 3D data with each frame captured by the camera. The circular form factor was developed so that the 3D scanner’s optical components could readily identify it. Once the scanner picks up on individual targets, the only thing left for the scanner is to figure out where they are in relation to one another.
